Kim draws her inspiration from
many sources; life experiences and concerns are woven
into her own mythology. A student of myth and
traditional story telling she is able to draw parallels
with societal attitudes and contemporary events. Kim
has been exhibiting since graduating and works in
Access/Community Arts – gaining experiences,
which she utilizes intuitively. Working in Paint, Print
and Ceramic Sculpture, her work is multifaceted in
interpretation.
The Antipodeans are a source of
inspiration as is the work of Barbara Hanrahan and
Paula Rego. She is represented in Public Galleries and
other public and corporate
collections.
