Come and discover this beautiful bluestone studio
made of recycled materials by the well known artist,
George Baldessin, in the 1970s. Nestling in the
bushland behind St Andrews village you will find a
haven of creativity; etchings, sculpture, photogravure,
monotypes, painting, photography, drawing and
more.
Four artists create their own work from this studio, as
well as running workshops, art retreats, and tuition
for the general public. You will encounter Silvi
Glattauer’s exquisite art-photography and
photogravures, Robert Hails’ etchings and
monotypes based on the theatre, Tess Edwards’
artist books, monotypes and paintings, and Lloyd
Godman’s ephemeral sculptures, photography and
drawing.
This is an inspirational studio dedicated to the
nurturing of the creative life, and the production of
high quality art in an environmentally responsible and
friendly setting.
