The 1980’s were the beginning of Bruce’s journey in the the Arts. Taking up pottery at Warrandyte’s famous Potters Cottage, he quickly discovered a love of the Japanese form of pottery known as Raku. Refining and experimenting with shapes and colours over the years, Bruce developed a love for the classical shapes found in ancient civilisations such as Greece and Persia. The look of ‘aged’ pieces but with his own individual style have since become a feature of Bruce’s work.
