Jack Lätti Ceramic artist, horticulturist.
Jack’s ceramic pieces presents a culmination of over three decades of experiences from childhood gardening and pottery to further tertiary studies and working in both industries for over ten years each.
Each piece made is individual and the artist deliberately explores the unknown by using new clay bodies, glazes and alter firing cycle of his kiln to produce the next masterpiece.
An eclectic range of succulents used in the pots propagated in the little nursery and garden influence the shape, texture, colour and size of pots.
The studio is on top of a hill next to Mount pleasant with breathtaking views of the Kinglake Ranges, rolling hills and native bushland. During open studio days pots are presented throughout the garden with lots of space and very easy access for all. A lovely place to linger have a cup or glass with a bite to eat.
