I spend a lot of time on our yacht VELELLA (built on the 68 house/studio site). Velella is my Studio. The natural world is my focus.
While sailing SE Asia I depicted the land in simplistic relief (typical of old marine charts) and filled the foreground with the prolific, dense, intense, colourful tropical flora; as well as fish and flower fantasies.
Back in Australian waters, almost ethereal sea views have emerged, alongside its flora.
